Federal Minister for Aviation visited PCAA Headquarter, Karachi.

Karachi ( ) Federal Minister for Aviation Ghulam Sarwar Khan visited Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority Headquarter, Karachi. Federal Minister was accompanied by Director General Pakistan
Civil Aviation Authority Khaqan Murtaza, Additional DG PCAA Air Vice Marshal Jamal Arshad and senior officials of Aviation Division and Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority. The Minister also visited Headquarter, Airport Security Force where he was briefed by Director General Major General Abid Latif Khan.

Director General PCAA Khaqan Murtaza briefed the aviation minister on functions of the authority
including preparation of International Civil Aviation Organization Audit which is scheduled later this
year, The Minister was also briefed on issues of the stranded passengers who intend to proceed to
Pakistan on the occasion of Eld-ul Azha, 2021. The Minister said that on the directions of Honorable Prime
Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan, efforts are being made for to bring back passengers who are stuck  in foreign countries.

He expressed his satisfaction on coordinating efforts of CAA for the timely return of Pakistanis through foreign airlines. The Minister Ghulam Sarwar Khan expressed satisfaction on services being provided at Airports in North Region of Pakistan to promote tourism under the leadership of DG CAA and his team.

Earlier this day, Honorable Federal Minister Ghulam Sarwar Khan visited ASF HOs , the minister said that
all Airports across the country must be transformed on modern lines on priority, The highly modernized security systems shall be made functional at the airports where officials of Airport Security Force (ASF) will be equipped with new technology and vehicles, the minister said that we are taking every step to operationalize state-of-the-art security on all airports of Pakistan.
